Amritsar, Golden Temple

the 'golden temple' of 'amritsar' is the biggest temple for the 'sikh' religion (something like a mixture between hinduism and islam, but quite different from both). you can always recognize 'sikhs' by their colorful turbans and proud appearance.

the kitchen at the temple provides free food for about 40.000 people per day (regardless of religion or nationality). also everyone can stay in the temple dormitories for free.
