the bambootrain in "battambang" is a very smart but sketchy construction of wheels, a bamboo "bed" and a small combustion engine to reuse the old railway tracks. since there is only one track, when two of these "trains" meet, one of them has to be disassembled and let the other one pass.

in the floating village "kampong loung" you can find everything usually found in asian villages on the land, only it's floating on boats or bamboo rafts: gas stations, a christian church, mobile phone shops, restaurants, an ice factory, workshops, even the usual "street" vendors.
